I am thrilled and humbled to share some incredible news from my voice acting journey: I have been nominated for two voice over awards at the prestigious One Voice Conference Awards in Dallas, TX, taking place on August 23, 2025. As a professional voice actor, being recognized for excellence among so many talented peers is both an honor and a milestone in my career. I’m nominated with people that I’ve watched with admiration over the last 5 years of this voice over journey of mine and that’s pretty special.

This year, I received nominations in two major categories:

For those in the voice over industry, the One Voice Conference Awards are considered one of the gold standards—an event that celebrates outstanding voice artistry across various genres. Being named a finalist, especially for my very first time, feels surreal and deeply rewarding. And, if I’m being honest, helps to slay the ‘imposter syndrome’ demons just a little more.

My path into professional voice acting began much like many others: with too much time on my hands during COVID, with a passion for creating, with a microphone, and the drive to do something that was in one way or another ‘remarkable’. From recording my very first demo, to building my website (www.jeffwilliamsvoice.com), and working on diverse projects for clients big and small, every step has been a learning experience.

The world of voice over is highly competitive, and I am grateful for each opportunity that has helped me grow—whether it’s political commercials, in-show narration, voicing movie trailers, voicing video games, or other exciting genres.

To be recognized by the One Voice Conference Awards is a dream come true and a goal finally realized. As someone who started with zero industry connections, I know what it means to work hard, take risks, spend the money to be in the room with people that move the needle, and continually hone my craft. These nominations reaffirm my commitment to delivering high-quality, genuine, authentic voice overs for every client.
